BIO
Sam Pinson has more than 20 years of experience in successfully managing a full spectrum of projects in the real estate development industry. He has managed projects on both sides of the real estate fence, including the development side and professional service industry, for mixed use, retail, multi-family residential, industrial and office projects.
Pinson was the director of development services for York Residential’s Florida operation. During this time he entitled the first Transit-Oriented Development in Broward County (Deerfield Station). Samuel has vast professional service experience while serving as vice president of operations and senior project manager for Rhon Ernest-Jones Consulting Engineers (today IBI Group), a Florida-based civil engineering, land planning, transportation planning and landscape architecture firm where he managed over 100 projects with a wide variety of property sub-types, as well as the firm’s operations. He also held positions of development project manager and senior real estate development consultant with the Codina Group (today Flagler Development) in Coral Gables, managing all aspects of development projects, including predevelopment analysis, entitlement and project management. In total, Samuel has been responsible for the development, management and entitlement of over 5,000,000 square feet of mixed use, retail, multi-family residential, industrial and office projects including over 3500 residential units.
Pinson is a graduate of Leadership Broward Foundation, a former board member of Broward County Rebuilding Together, a graduate and Alumni Association President of Leadership Coral Springs and a graduate of Rollins College.
